Facts vs Observation vs Interpretation vs Understanding (part 1)

I wanted to write this blog post for a long-long time. Often, I have found through personal experiences that people interpret facts differently, they come up with different conclusions. Being prejudiced and limited in their vision they often mis-interpret things. That’s why may be the great scholars have told us – “You don’t perceive the world the way its is but the way you are!”

It seldom happens that you go to a person with a goodwill intent but he thinks you are his enemy! This happens especially in times of Heightened emotions like Anger, Fear and/or during times of stress. Imagine a situation when you are meeting a person for the first time. If the person is happy about something - you conclude that the person is a 'Jolly Person'; on the other hand if the person is frustrated about something - you may conclude that you'll be better off that person!

So, I have decided to write a series of posts beginning today about such incidences I personally encountered. I'll be quoting some real life examples...obviously I'll be quoting the exact situations and the scenario and its up to the readers to decide the conclusions based on their own prejudices!! I'll be just quoting the facts!
