Samsung Slate 7 Windows 7 Tablets Review, Samsung Slate 7 Price in India

Samsung Slate 7 price in India is yet to be announced. But I believe that it will cost somewhere around 60,000/- rupees. That may seem too much compared to iPad and Galaxy tabs, but once you compare its specifications and configuration with Galaxy tab and iPad you won't be disappointed.

Samsung Slate 7 is the Windows 7 (Please note that it is Windows 7 OS used in laptops and desktops and not Windows Phone 7 used in Windows SmartPhones) machine sporting Intel's 1.6GHz Core i5 2467M CPU with integrated graphics and 4GB of RAM, 64/128 GB Diskspace all beneath a 11.6-inch capacitive panel as opposed to 1Gz Processor, 1-2 GB Ram and 16/32 GB Diskspace in Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Given its configuration, features and specifications, if you are planning to buy a tablet, you might want to check it out, specially if you define tablet as a advanced touch-screen laptop sans keyboard, Samsung Slate 7 is the best device till date.

As you can see the PCMark7 score for Samsung Slate 7 surpasses the Editor's choice Lenovo ThinkPad by a huge margin.

There's no point for a Samsung Slate 7 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab or Samsung Slate 7 vs iPad or any other Windows tablet vs Android Tablet. Because Google and Apple see tablets as Advanced Mobile Devices, however Microsoft sees tablets as Advanced Laptop PCs.
