Samsung C&T Corporation (a construction arm of Samsung Group) bags US $ 483 million order from Mongolia.

Samsung C&T Corp., a construction arm of Samsung Group, said Wednesday that it has clinched a US$483 million contract to build a 217-kilometer-long railway and stations in Mongolia.

Under the deal with the Mongolia Railway Authority, Samsung C&T said it will build the railway that will link the Tavan Tolgoi mine, some 540 kilometers south of Ulan Bator, to the country's border with China. 

The construction is expected to take 30 months.
