What can I do for a clean India?

[Following is my Entry for the 'Sankalp Se Siddhi' Essay writing Competition organized on MyGov.in. Topic of the essay was 'What can I do for a Clean India?']:

The Clean India Campaign was officially launched by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, on 2nd October 2014, the 145th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi from Rajghat, New Delhi. To launch the campaign, he began by cleaning the road himself. He then nominated 9 prominent personalities to initiate the campaign in their own respective areas and further asked them to invite 9 personalities of their own choosing to carry out Clean India Campaign.

Based on the same logic, since 2015, I have been campaigning for Clean India during my Guest Lectures and Training Sessions at various Institutes (NITs, IIITs etc.), Universities (Kalinga, YMCA etc.) and Schools. I have formed two Social Service Groups with my friends – eGurukul Bharat which conducts free of cost training programs at Colleges and Paritraan – which conducts free of cost training programs at Schools. Instead of charging any fees we ask the students to train atleast 2 students for free and tell them to train another 2 students. Secondly, we ask them to contribute to Cleanliness and Sanitation Awareness drives in their area. We have so far covered over 60 Universities/Institutes and 10 Schools in 23 States covering both - the Urban and Rural India.

For future sessions I plan to include the Clean India logo in MS Power-point Presentations that I use for training the students. I also plan to write posts on my blog (www.aasthik.com ) and post images and articles on Facebook so that others get inspired.
